The company creates interpretive posters of famous stories by using their entire text as the foundation for their illustrations. According to the website, the text is set at 4 point font size, which is completely legible if you have 20/20 vision. Every single word is visible, so if you have great vision and a lot of patience, you could read an entire story while standing in front of a poster.
Brooklyn Neighborhood Type Map by James McDonald
“Designed over several months the map represents all of the neighborhoods of Brooklyn, parts of the remaining 4 Boroughs of NYC and a small part of New Jersey. NO TYPEFACES WERE USED IN THE DESIGN, this was all hand drawn and rendered on my faithful macintosh. A modern approach to cartography, the result is a puzzle like effect of each town’s hand designed name within it’s accurate geographic borders.”
