Horrorgami by Marc Hagan-Guirey (a.k.a. Paper Dandy)

Papercraft artworks dedicated to famous haunted houses. For each sculpture in this series, Marc Hagan-Guirey takes a single piece of A4 paper, cuts and folds it until he creates a classic horror movie location, without using any sticky adhesive or glue. The artist was inspired by the Japanese art form of kirigami, which is a variation of origami that includes cutting paper. Paper Dandy will be showing his Horrorgami series for two weeks starting on November 1st, 2012 at Gallery One-And-A-Half in London. Presented with light boxes, the paper sculptures will appear like spooky silhouettes at night.
